What is Friendly?

A co working, multi-use, creative space based a few moments from the King Power Stadium in Leicester. From daily and monthly desks, to the potential to hire the space for shoots, events or private use - we can’t wait to have you at the studio.

Where is the space?

FRIENDLY is located within St Mary's Works on the corner of Linekar Road and Burnmoor Street. We're a 2 min walk away from the King Power, and a 12 minute walk from town.

FRIENDLY is based in Unit 18 on the first floor, Block A. You'll find our entrance by the cut through half way down the factory. Take the first red door on the right, and we're on the first floor.

Where do I park?

There's parking around the back and underneath St Mary's Works, and you can scan a code inside the building to gain 3 hours free parking with us.

Alternatively, there is an NCP car park located between our building and the King Power, or you can park on single yellow lines after 6pm and on Sundays.

Our space allows people from different walks of life to connect, inspire and grow together.

FRIENDLY is a community first, safe creative space for people to do just that.

What type of private hire do you offer?

Babyshowers. Product launches. Engagement parties. Book launches. 40ths. 50ths. 60ths. Panel talks. Workshops. Family get togethers. Screenings. Yoga sessions....

And everything we've not even thought about yet!

How many dogs are allowed in the space?

We want to limit it to two dogs maximum in the space at any time, and owners must be fully responsible for their pets.

Is there 24 hour access?

For fixed desks, access is 24 hours.

For daily desks, bookings end at 5:30

For private bookings, we'll arrange your timings with you.

Is it children friendly?

It depends on what's on!

In working hours children are not allowed in the space unless otherwise organised as we want people who've arranged to work here to have the most peaceful experience.

We run lots of sessions where children are welcome, so keep an eye on our events pages.

LOCATION

We're situated in St Marys Works, Block A on Burnmoor Street, we occupy a 840sft unit of the second floor: Postcode LE2 7JL.

Our location is less than 5 mins walk from King Power Stadium, 5 mins from Freemans Commons and about 10 minutes walk in the the heart of the city centre.

We have on-site parking, and there is a NCP car parking a stones throw away behind the Symphony Rooms.
